The GED is recognized as a diploma/certificate of high school equivalency in all provinces and territories in Canada and in all states and territories in the United States.
The GED is a way for adults who have not graduated high school to earn an Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate. This certificate is issued by the Ministry of Education and is only available through the GED tests. Employers, universities, colleges, and Ontario Apprenticeship Programs recognize the GED as equivalent to the OSSD (grade 12).

Our process builds on the skills and knowledge you have acquired since leaving school while preparing you for the GED tests. Our GED Readiness Assessment lets you see how ready you are to write the GED tests, and our GED Preparation
Program allows you to work with experienced adult educators to gain skills, knowledge and confidence that will greatly improve your chance for success in the GED tests. We provide courses at a number of locations to help individuals take the first step towards gaining more education in their chosen field.
